These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyPewScore, a social app for competitive shooters operated by PewScore LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MyPewScore. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent's or guardian's permission.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it. Choose a strong method of sign-in (Apple, Google, or email). Don't share your credentials.
One account, two apps. MyPewScore and PewScore share the same backend. Your account, authentication, and competition record link work across both apps. Deleting your account removes it from both.
Your handle must not impersonate another person, infringe a trademark, or violate our Community Guidelines. We may require you to change a handle that violates these Terms.
"User Content" means anything you post, upload, or share in the app — run logs, personal bests, call-outs, comments, reactions, photos, and your profile information.
You own the content you create. By posting it you grant PewScore LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute your content within the app and in connection with the service (for example, to show your post in another user's feed). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to any content you post, including photos. Don't post content you don't own or have permission to share.
You control who can see your content via your profile visibility setting (Public or Followers-only) and the per-post visibility option (Public, Followers, or Squad). We honour these settings technically, but you are responsible for choosing the appropriate setting before you post.
MyPewScore is built for competitive shooters to connect and compete. Keep it that way.
The challenge and live session features are designed for friendly competition among consenting shooters. Sending a challenge is not harassment — it's an invitation. Repeated, unwanted challenges sent to a user who has asked you to stop is harassment and may result in account suspension.
The in-app shot timer is intended for use at a legal, supervised shooting range. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the app and the shot timer complies with all applicable laws and range rules.
You can report any post, comment, or profile that violates these Terms using the report option in the app. We review reports and may remove content, issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms.
You can block any user at any time. Blocking prevents that user from interacting with your content. The blocked user is not notified.
We are not obligated to pre-screen content, but we reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account at our discretion.
MyPewScore, its design, and the PewScore Rating system are owned by PewScore LLC. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.
The PewScore Rating displayed in the app is derived from official match records. It is read-only in MyPewScore and cannot be altered through social or challenge activity.
The app integrates third-party services including Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, Sentry (error tracking), and PostHog (analytics). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
MyPewScore is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content — including ratings, rankings, or challenge results — is accurate or complete.
We are not responsible for the conduct of other users on the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PewScore LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of MyPewScore. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
You may delete your account at any time in the You tab. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Sections 3, 7, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of California.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We will notify you through the app before material changes take effect. Continued use of MyPewScore after changes are effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
